Transporter

Full-Time, Second Shift

Job Description

  • The Transporter II is responsible for the transport of Baptist Health patients to radiology departments and upon discharge from the hospital.
  • The Transporter II will also assist patient care units with maximum assistance transfers with appropriate utilization of mechanical lifts.
  • Must also intervene appropriately and meet the needs of patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing, or mobility.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED
  • Previous hospital/transport experience preferred
  • BLS within 6 months of hire date
  • Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs
