Job Description
- The Transporter II is responsible for the transport of Baptist Health patients to radiology departments and upon discharge from the hospital.
- The Transporter II will also assist patient care units with maximum assistance transfers with appropriate utilization of mechanical lifts.
- Must also intervene appropriately and meet the needs of patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing, or mobility.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED
- Previous hospital/transport experience preferred
- BLS within 6 months of hire date
- Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs
