Your Day-to-Day:

  • Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Provide technical expertise in geotechnical analysis, design, and implementation.
  • Serve as a client project manager, maintaining strong relationships and delivering projects profitably.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to enhance project outcomes and departmental efficiency.
  • Mentor and grow a geotechnical team, overseeing analysis, design, reporting, and construction site inspections.

Your Impact:

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at S&ME, you'll lead and manage engineering projects from inception to completion, driving safety, quality, and adherence to schedules. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding geotechnical analysis, design, and implementation, while also serving as a client project manager to ensure alignment with objectives and foster strong relationships. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams both locally and across the company, you'll contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency enhancements within our projects and departments.


What You Bring:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, Mining, or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
  • You have 8+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering
  • You have 5+ years in a Project Manager role, a plus
  • You have a Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • You are able to demonstrate business development skills
  • You are able to assist in the field and conduct project site visits as needed
