Part-time, Dayshift

Job Summary:

  • Administers direct care to the patient of all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics under the direction of an emergency medical physician, emergency physician's assistant, emergency advanced registered nurse practitioner or a professional registered nurse.

  • Ensures adherence to hospital and department policies as well as paramedic scope of practice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment in conjunction with an RN repeat assessments.

  • Provides care to the ED patient.

  • Accurate Documentation of care provided into EMR system.

  • Ensures positive customer relations interactions.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
