Full-time, Day Shift

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the overall management and operation of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Department.
  • Development and implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines, budgeting and fiscal management, personnel management, quality assurance, and community relations.
  • Responsible for ensuring the department provides high-quality patient care and services in a cost-effective manner.
  • Obligated to ensure that the administration of EMS programs maintains compliance in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Education and competency of staff
  • Performance Improvement
  • Strategic Planning

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of five years related experience
  • Valid KY Driver's License
  • Kentucky EMT-P licensure
  • BLS, ACLS, NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800
  • Must obtain PALS, PHTLS within 6 months of hire
