Job Description:
- Responsible for the overall management and operation of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Department.
- Development and implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines, budgeting and fiscal management, personnel management, quality assurance, and community relations.
- Responsible for ensuring the department provides high-quality patient care and services in a cost-effective manner.
- Obligated to ensure that the administration of EMS programs maintains compliance in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

- Education and competency of staff

- Strategic Planning
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum of five years related experience
- Valid KY Driver's License
- Kentucky EMT-P licensure
- BLS, ACLS, NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800
- Must obtain PALS, PHTLS within 6 months of hire
