Office Coordinator position for an off-campus department near the main hospital
Job Description:
Provides front desk duties such as greeting visitors and patients, registering patients, answering phones, collecting payments, medical record management, Epic documentation, and customer relations.
Participates in referral processing, scheduling and rescheduling of patients for diabetes, exercise and nutrition services.
Is involved in generating reports, participating in data collection and problem solving.
Cross-trained with other office coordinator to provide scheduling and data entry services.
Other office duties assigned.
Customer service skills and communication skills are necessary.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent,
Business/office management experience required.
Minimum of two years office experience in a health care related environment.
