Baptist Health is looking for a Hospital Financial Operations Analyst II to join our team in Lexington, KY. This position has the potential to be hybrid.

The Financial Operations Analyst will assist Director of Financial Operations in providing financial accountability for Lexington Market, budget and financial planning/forecasting.

  • With limited assistance, performs various operations analytics duties throughout the month, including data querying, spreadsheet design and maintenance, trending and KPI monitoring.
  • Provides operational financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting, statistical and budgetary data; preparing reports.
  • Applies data analyses techniques and methodologies to actual and budgeted information, which includes work that is analytical, evaluative and advisory in nature, and that requires an understanding of the respective market's operating activities and services provided.
  • Performs operations data functions in areas that are generally more complex in nature and requires a more detailed understanding and application of operational data analytics techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Masters degree in Finance or related field, CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in accounting, finance or analytics.
  • Hospital and/or Healthcare experience highly preferred.
