Pay Range: $128,000-$182,000

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

Directly responsible for the overall administration, execution, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function for Tempurpedic Retail Stores covering the following: talent acquisition, talent management, labor relations, employee relations, wage and hour administration, orientation, onboarding, training, compliance, safety and health & welfare, benefits and employee services

  • Collaborates with leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Directs the interpretation and application of established human resources policies, procedures, plans and programs throughout all locations and recommends improvement where appropriate.
  • Supervises recruitment, placement and retention of employees and training programs and assures compliance with equal Affirmative Action and Employment Opportunity regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment related law.
  • Communicates and provides feedback between corporate and the field team regarding Human Resources issues.
  • Ensures that monthly, quarterly and annual metrics are maintained and reported
  • Administers wage and salary policies, organization structures and performance management programs.
  • Assists the appropriate manager in the administration of employee safety, health, security, recreation and benefits programs.
  • Directs preparation and implementation/administration of Affirmative Action Programs.
  • Develops, implements and deploys appropriative training programs as needed.
  • Ensures all benefit programs and services are communicated properly in the field.
  • Strengthens employee relations

  • Completes all other projects as assigned by supervisor

What You'll Need (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Required experience:
    • 8 years of related experience with 2 years of management experience, or
    • 6 years of related experience with 4 years of management experience is required.
  • SHRM, HRCI, or other HR certification is strongly encouraged
