Radiology Coordinator

Full-Time, Days

Job Description:

  • Coordinates delivery of health care services to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Directs human and physical resources to achieve an established standard of care in the radiologic sciences.
  • Exercises professional judgment in performance of duties and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
  • Assure appropriate patient care management and adjust daily operation to meet the needs of a changing working environment.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in imaging sciences
  • Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry) in radiography RT(R), or certified by Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in nuclear medicine (CNMT) or registered by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalents
  • Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
  • Five (5) years or equivalent training preferred
  • Working knowledge on areas to be supervised
  • Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
