ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Primary DutiesEstablishes system controls by developing a role-based framework for varying levels of access. Ensures authorized access by investigating improper access, revoking access, and reporting violations. Establishes computer and terminal physical security by developing standards, policies, and procedures. Serves as the security expert/liaison for all organizational technology initiatives.Responsible for user account approval, creation, and managementObtains completed necessary security forms prior to user account activation and manages digital forms for each facility.Establishes computer and terminal physical security by developing standards, policies, and procedures.Serves as the security expert/liaison for all organizational technology initiatives; Develops security awareness by providing orientation, educational programs, and on-going communication.
Help Desk and Customer ServiceDiagnoses, resolves and closes customer issues according to service level guidelines. Promptly escalates issues to higher level technical support or management when necessary.Prepares and maintains documentation for the departmental knowledgebaseParticipates in on-call rotation.

Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent RequiredBachelor's degree in Information Technology field: Preferred
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
