40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Dayshift

$$ Up to $30,000 EMPLOYMENT BONUS ELIGIBLE $$

The Charge Nurse is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the Surgery unit. Works closely with the preop/pacu Charge RN to ensure patient flow efficiencies. Also as a Registered Nurse, implements the nursing process for each patient/resident (pediatrics to geriatrics depending on scope of care in the nursing department in which he/she works) assigned to his/her care. He/she is responsible for the co-ordination of direct and indirect care within the parameters of the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of BHLAG. Responsibilities are commensurate with the education preparation.

Required:

Current RN licensure by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

BCLS - Required within 90 days of hire.

ACLS & PALS obtained within 6 months of hire

Preferred:

Supervisory Experience

CNOR

AORN Member

BSN Preferred
