ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation.
Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
Reports broken, damaged or inoperative equipment, lights or furnishings to immediate supervisor.
Follows appropriate cleaning policies to assure all patient areas, visiting areas, facility departments and Surgical suites are maintained per standard cleaning regulations.

Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
X High school diploma or equivalent X Preferred
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Ability to quickly learn how to navigate multiple software systems.
Must be able to communicate with the ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to successfully complete Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire
Minimum Work Experience
Previous clinical Housekeeping experience X Preferred
