Job Summary - Sr. Regional Sales Trainer

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a Senior Regional Sales Trainer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and performance of our field sales representatives. Your role will involve collaborating with sales leadership, identifying training needs, and executing effective training sessions. We are looking for an individual with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in driving sales success through training and development initiatives.

Training Program Development:

  • Work closely with sales leadership to assess training needs and design comprehensive training programs.
  • Develop engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, guides, and multimedia content.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for field sales representatives, covering topics such as product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management.
  • Utilize various training methods, including role-playing, workshops, and simulations to reinforce learning.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback to make continuous improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, sales methodologies, and best practices to ensure training content remains relevant and impactful.

Sales Coaching:

  • Provide individual coaching and support to sales representatives to address specific skill gaps and enhance overall performance.
  • Conduct ride-alongs and field visits to observe, assess, and provide real-time feedback.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with sales management to identify high-potential individuals for advanced training and development opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align training programs with business strategies.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in field sales with a successful track record.
  • Previous experience in sales training and development.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel (50%+) as needed to conduct in-person training sessions and field visits.
