Baptist Health Medical Group Athletic Training for KY and IN

Full or Part time, and PRN

Baptist Health Sports Medicine has numerous community partnerships across the Louisville, Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY), and Floyd (Southern Indiana) markets in a variety of settings including high school, collegiate, club sports, professional, and community outreach settings. The Athletic Trainer will complete athletic training duties at location assigned.

Under the supervision and direction of physician, and in accordance with state practice act, the Athletic Trainer will provide comprehensive medical and athletic training services including but not limited to:

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field (effective 2023, requirement for all new graduates, as all athletic training programs will be master's level programs).
    • Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field (graduates graduating prior to 2023).
    • National certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) for athletic trainers.
    • Licensed or eligible to be licensed as an athletic trainer by the state board of medical licensure in the state where work is being performed.
    • Basic Life Support Certification
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with team physicians, therapists, and other healthcare personnel.
