Job Description:

CRT/RRT - PRN

To provide Respiratory Care to newborns through geriatrics. Responsibilities include critical care and general patient care assignments. Possesses a sound knowledge and an adequate proficiency in the skills of Respiratory Care and Electrodiagnostic practices, procedures and techniques. May provide direction to RCP I's and II's. Collaborates with all other interdisciplinary services and team members. The individual demonstrates competency based on observation and/or demonstration for all age categories treated within the Cardiorespiratory Care's scope of practice. The individual will abide by all hospital wide policy and procedure; for example, Guest Relations, Corporate Compliance, Mandatory Yearly in-services, continuing education units and other required in-services.

Qualifications

Must possess a current and valid KBRC license.

Must be RRT or eligible.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and

Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required:

Possess current CPR card.

Complete ACLS, PALS and NRP within first year of employment
