Job Description:

Sterile Processing Technician Full Time

  • Sterile Processing Tech is an individual with decontamination sterilization knowledge and abilities.
  • Will provide a continuum of sterile instruments and supplies to surgical services and other in house departments as needed
  • Maintains adequate levels of items required for departmental inventory
  • All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities & initiatives
  • Adheres to specific hospital policy and procedures.

I. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • 1 to 3 ears of sterile processing experience preferred.
  • (CBSPD) or certification from IAHCSMM as a Certified Registered Central Serve Technician (CRCST) preferred.
